By order No. 65 of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation dated April 2, 1993, the first clinical base (Basic Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic) was created at the Kuban Medical Academy on the basis of the Krasnodar Regional Clinical Scientific and Methodological Center for Mother and Child (which was founded in September 1991). The scientific director and organizer of the clinic was Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences Boris Grigoryevich Ermoshenko. The first chief physician of the clinic was an experienced obstetrician-gynecologist Vladimir Sergeevich Kodentsov. Since January 1995, for 15 years, the clinic was headed by Samvel Alekseevich Galustyan, Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Since April 2010, Victoria Aleksandrovna Krutova has been appointed chief physician.
The clinic is the main gynecological base of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Kuban State Medical University, which has all the necessary conditions for teaching students of the IV, V and VI courses of the Faculty of Medicine, interns, clinical residents.
In the structure of the clinic there are: a consultative and diagnostic polyclinic, departments of ultrasound and radiation diagnostics, family planning and reproduction, rehabilitation, a clinical diagnostic laboratory; rooms for cervical pathology, functional diagnostics, preparation of pregnant women for childbirth. Inpatient care is provided in the departments of conservative and operative gynecology, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, in a day hospital.
The round-the-clock hospital uses minimally invasive accesses and endoscopic technologies in the examination and surgical treatment of patients with various gynecological pathologies: tumor formations in the female genital area, genital endometriosis, all forms of female infertility, neuroendocrine gynecological pathology, endometrial hyperplastic processes, inflammatory diseases, anomalies in the development of the genital organs , ectopic pregnancy, displacements and prolapses of the genital organs.
On the basis of a day hospital, pregnant women are prepared for childbirth. The only department of pediatric and adolescent gynecology in the Krasnodar Territory operates according to the SCOT principle and includes a polyclinic and a hospital with 15 beds.
Since 1998, after the completion of the reconstruction, 101,845 patients have been admitted by doctors of the outpatient department of the clinic, laboratory tests have been carried out – general clinical 876,230, immunological 179,495, biochemical 273,000, coagulological 138,200, PCR 123,195 gynecological surgery, including 196 in girls, reproductive function was restored in 210 couples.
The staff of the clinic is actively engaged in research work. 197 articles have been published, two patents and 17 rationalization proposals have been obtained. On the basis of the clinic, its employees conducted research and defended 4 Ph.D. (I.N. Ananev, I.V. Surnina, year of 2002, V.A. Krutova, year of 2006, N.V. Naumova, year of 2007).
Participation in international, all-Russian, regional scientific congresses, forums, as well as congresses of obstetricians and gynecologists has become a tradition for clinic doctors. In 2008, three doctors were awarded a medal for the best scientific and practical work on the topic “Viferon in pediatric and obstetric practice.”
The clinic employs highly qualified doctors of various specialties: 6 candidates of medical sciences, 21 doctors of the highest qualification category, 33 doctors of the first category.
For success in healthcare, two doctors of the clinic were awarded the titles “Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation” (2003), “Honored Doctor of the Republic of Adygea” (2008), three doctors were awarded the medal “For outstanding contribution to the development of the Kuban” III degree (2005), Certificates of Honor of the Ministry of Health and social development of the Russian Federation (2007, 2009).
By order of the Ministry of Health of Russia dated April 13, 2018 No. 164, the Basic Obstetric and Gynecological Clinic was renamed and from May 14, 2018 it has the name “Clinic of FSBEI HPE KSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia”.
By order No. 567 of September 17, 2020, the Dental Polyclinic of the FSBEI HPE KSMU Ministry of Health of Russia was reorganized by joining the Clinic of the FSBEI HPE KSMU Ministry of Health of Russia from December 1, 2020.
