Employees of the international department assign a great role to individual work with foreign students. From the moment they enter the university, they are interviewed and questioned, which gives a fairly complete analysis of various aspects of their passions and inclinations. Foreign students are given complete information about their rights and obligations during their stay in the Russian Federation, about the structures, the functioning of which is aimed at protecting their interests. Individual conversations and meetings are regularly held with student assets of courses and compatriots, both individually and jointly with representatives of specialized dean’s offices.
The resettlement of foreign students in hostels is currently carried out by cohabitation with Russian students. When foreign students settle in dormitories, they get acquainted with all the necessary regulatory documents regarding the rules of residence and behavior. The dormitory asset is formed from the living foreign students. Foreign students are part of the united student asset.
Organizational meetings are held with the activists of the communities. Some national communities of the city are headed by students of our university, while the international department is directly involved in the selection of the most authoritative candidates for elections to the leaders of the communities.
Various public events are held with the involvement of foreign students of the University, which makes it possible to instill in them a sense of responsibility and tolerance for various national ethnic groups and cultures. At the same time, such actions expand the understanding of public structures about the contingent of foreign students of the university. Twice a year, a general meeting is held with foreign students with the invitation of employees of the public relations department of the municipality of Krasnodar, representatives of law enforcement agencies (the Department of Internal Affairs, the Main Department of Internal Affairs, the Department of Internal Affairs of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Krasnodar Territory).
The International Department also works to involve foreign students in the public life of the University and the city. Foreign students participate in many public cultural and sports events dedicated to solemn dates held at the University and the city.
The international department maintains close ties with the embassies and representative offices of the countries whose students study at our university. Close ties are maintained with the international department of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation to control the stay and education of students enrolled in the state educational system.
On November 27, 2018, the Interethnic Club of FSEI HPE KSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia (hereinafter – IC University) was officially created at the university.
The main goal of the creation and activities of the IC University is the development of information and educational, cultural, educational, international activities, contributing to the strengthening of inter-ethnic tolerance and solidarity in the multi-ethnic educational environment of the University
