The organization of the work of student hostels is regulated by a package of documents establishing the status of a student hostel, the internal routine of life and everyday life, the role and tasks of self-government bodies.
The dormitories are home to students of medical, pediatric, dental, preventive medicine, pharmaceutical faculties, clinical residents, graduate students.
Dormitories No. 1 and No. 2 are of corridor type (amenities in the corridor), dormitories No. 3 and No. 4 of sectional type (conveniences in the section). Each room is occupied by 2-3 people. The dormitories have kitchens, dining rooms, laundry and ironing rooms.
In the dormitories of the Kuban State Medical University, routine and major repairs are carried out annually. As required, the dormitories are provided with furniture, soft inventory, washing and cleaning supplies.
Each dormitory has a room for self-study, contracts are regularly concluded for washing clothes, disinfecting premises, removing garbage and other necessary utilities. The dormitories provide the necessary thermal conditions and illumination in accordance with sanitary requirements and rules. All hostels are equipped with fire alarm and warning systems, as well as equipped with the necessary fire equipment. Residents in the dormitory are given the right to use office equipment and the Internet, subject to the relevant instructions and safety rules.
Annually, at the beginning of the academic year, the registration regime of residents is carried out in the university hostels together with the district police department.
The need for living in a dormitory among students is fully satisfied.
Travel time to the university is 30-40 minutes by tram number 2. The dining room and buffet are located on the territory of the university.
The procedure for providing places in dormitory.
Accommodation of students in the dormitory is carried out in accordance with the “Regulations on student hostels of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education of the KSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia”
The allocation of places in student dormitories is carried out by the joint decision of the dean’s offices, responsible for the registration of documents for the move in and the trade union committee of students in order of priority and within the quota by faculty.
Accommodation of students in the dormitory is made taking into account their preferential status and financial situation on the basis of a personal application with a petition from the dean’s office.
The order of the provision of premises is determined as the application is submitted, taking into account the preferential order – first, students of the budgetary form of education, then students on a compensatory basis.
